Know Your Limits

I know my limits. 13 laps around the yard is a mile.

Of course, I walk a bit out so it’s not exact but I do

know that if I give out, I can make it home.

Same goes with riding a stationary bike.

I can ride several miles and still be home in time for supper.

If you swim in the deep in of the pool you must be able to

make it to the edge or else, you could be in trouble.

But being safe doesn’t mean you shouldn’t push yourself.

One more lap when walking, one more set of commercials

while riding the stationary bike.

As for swimming, I walk out to where I feel comfortable

then swim crosswise. If I give out I put my feet down.

That doesn’t keep me from swimming one more lap before

calling it quits for the day. Push yourself a bit further and in

a week or a month, see how much you have accomplished.

What makes Me

What makes me who I am?
Traits, strengths, skills, talents
What do I feel passionate about?
What do I need to learn?
Improvements on self
Areas I struggle with
Write down beliefs
Write down dreams
You are told to lose weight and exercise combine that with eating right

and all your problems will what? OK, so if you lose weight your blood

pressure may go down. Wish it was that easy. Exercising can be a real

laugh. I started to walk yesterday and the mosquitoes swarmed, so

I tried to get back in the house without letting too many in. I do good

about eating as long as no one else is around to tempt me, I don’t smell

bread cooking or the neighbor doesn’t bring in my favorite coconut pie.

OK so that is a lot of temptation I give in to, I admit.

So that leaves me struggling to lose weight. I am not much on taking diet pills so what is a gal to do?
